Omaha holds a special place in our hearts. It’s where everyday moments turned into memories and where many of our favorite dates, celebrations, and traditions began. Below are a few of the places we love most and hope you’ll enjoy during your stay.

A special stop for us—the Midtown location (3220 Farnam St.) is where we had our very first date in 2018. We’ll always have a soft spot for it, and it feels extra fun to share a place that holds such sweet memories. If you’re craving ice cream and a little nostalgia, this one means a lot to us.

coldstone creamery

House-made ice cream with seasonal flavors in the heart of the Blackstone District. Worth the line every single time.

The cocktails are thoughtfully crafted and the space feels intimate and cozy in the best way.

Located inside the beautiful Cottonwood Hotel, this classic steakhouse offers an elevated dining experience with timeless ambiance—perfect for a special evening.

Another absolute favorite for Mason...those that know him well know he loves his sushi! Creative sushi rolls, fun cocktails, and a lively atmosphere.

One of Sydney's favorite spots for both lunch and dinner. The food is always solid, the cocktails are great, and it’s an easy place to relax and enjoy a good meal any time of day.

A classic Omaha staple we keep coming back to. It’s the kind of place that feels welcoming every time—perfect for lunch, dinner, or a glass of wine while wandering the Old Market. Cozy, timeless, and full of character.

One of our all-time favorites. Handmade pasta, seasonal dishes, and an intimate, warm atmosphere. Many date nights and birthdays spent here! Reservations recommended.

Mason's absolute favorite cold brew ever! A go-to for a cozy coffee break. The Mill is perfect for slow mornings, great espresso drinks, and a relaxed Omaha vibe—ideal before exploring downtown or the Old Market.

A favorite stop for great coffee and an easy place to spend time in Blackstone. We’ve spent countless mornings here, and it always brings us back to our college days.

If you arrive in Omaha early, we highly recommend spending some time walking through the Joslyn Art Museum. It’s free and open to the public, and such a beautiful space to explore before we transform it into our wedding venue. And if you don’t get a chance to visit early… consider this a small sneak peek — select galleries along with a few custom 'exhibits' featuring photos of the bride & groom will be open during cocktail hour day of the wedding.

If you’re extending your stay, Omaha’s award-winning zoo is well worth the time. It’s consistently ranked among the best in the world and makes for a fun, easy outing if you have an extra morning or afternoon to explore.

On Saturday morning, the Old Market Farmers Market is a great way to ease into the day. Grab a coffee, stroll the brick streets, and browse local vendors—it’s a relaxed, very Omaha way to start the weekend before wedding festivities begin.

A fun, quick walk-through in the Old Market. The Passageway connects a few hidden shops and restaurants and is an easy stop if you’re wandering downtown. A great place to pop in for a drink or bite while exploring the area.

A great stop during the wedding weekend for coffee or a casual meal while exploring the Old Market. Café Postale is set inside one of Omaha’s historic buildings, making it an easy place to grab a bite and take in a little local history between events.

For the pizza lovers — this is a great spot if you’re looking for an easy, satisfying meal during the weekend. Dolomiti serves wood-fired pizzas and Italian favorites and is an ideal choice for a relaxed lunch or dinner.
